Started in 2005, Scientific Foresight is an effort to trigger the
development of scientific temperament among youth, and ignite their
scientific mind to bring about social, economic, and intellectual
development through applications of science and technology.
The event aims at:
Bringing business and scientific community on a single
platform for exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience, and trends.
Providing a learning platform for students to showcase
their talent as well as develop the right scientific temperament
through interaction with larger scientific community.
Providing a platform for scientific institutions to
interact with their counterparts from various parts of India as well
as representatives from some foreign universities as well for sharing
ideas and best practices for improving the quality of education and
research.
Enclosed is a brief description of the event, its history, people
behind the endeavor, and some of the esteemed members of the
scientific community expected to participate in this year's event.
This meet can be a great place for a company to meet potential
recruits, network with others in industry, hear the students who might
be creating the next Google and much more. The way the event will be
organized itself will be the best way to "judge" the transformation of
a society from dark ages to bleeding edge of innovation.
